In China, there are 3 types of explosion-proof certification based on the applicable environment for explosion-proof products.

1. Explosion-proof Certification

（1）Applicable products: Electrical and non-electrical equipment used in non-mining areas with explosive gases and dust (excluding explosion-proof 3C product catalog)

（2）Processing: Product testing

（3）Certification: Explosion proof Certification

（4）Standards: GB/T 3836 series

（5）Certificate validity: 5 years

（6）Annual review: None

（7）Issuing bodies: more than ten qualified explosion-proof certificate issuing agencies, such as Nanyang CQST, Shanghai NEPSI, Tianjin PCEC,Guangzhou CQC,Liaoning Clex, Coal Science Institute, etc.

2.Explosion proof CCC certification

（1）Applicable products: Electrical equipment for explosion-proof 3C catalog

（2）Processing: Product testing+factory aduit

（3）Certification: CCC certification

（4）Standards: GB/T 3836 series

（5）Certificate validity: 5 years

（6）Annual review: Once a year 

（7）Issuing bodies: 6 explosion-proof CCC issuing agencies, Nanyang CQST, Shanghai NEPSI, Tianjin PCEC, CQC, CQM, and Jiamusi.

（1）Applicable products:explosion-proof equipment used in mines

（2）Processing: Product testing+factory aduit

（3）Standards: GB/T 3836 series and mining standards

（4）Certification: MA Certification

（5）Certificate validity: 5 years

（4）Other：battery specifications, wireless transmission power reports, potting process documents, housing material reports, and Ex Certificates for electrical components,etc.

（5）Samples：2 pcs complete samples

（6）Additional： battery, housing samples, unsealed circuit boards, piezoelectric components, etc.
